A family that loves the outdoors, staying healthy, and their time together. Three important elements that Christin Homes took into consideration when designing and building this family's Lowell home. After speaking with Chad at Christin Homes, the home owner states that "we never looked elsewhere once we spoke with Chad. The comfort level he brought was a great sign, plus he was so down to earth." The home owner had built a few homes in the past and stressed that many times builders had grandiose ideas and never took the time to hear them out. "Chad was very humble and helped us with every and any idea we proposed to him."

Coming in, the home owner was on a timeline and had some basic ideas of what they wanted. Chad worked quickly and presented plans that she remembers "were right on the money". She goes on to say that Chad was able to show them homes that were already built, which was a big help and much different than trying to envision their home based off plans.

To keep healthy, a large indoor gym was built under the garage, which added on plenty of square footage, and offered the family an amazing gym right in their own home.

In addition to the gym, an old barn door was used as an entryway to a finished storage space, and a hidden door was also built to store the most precious items.

One thing that the home owners hoped to avoid was building a home that's too big and too expensive. Their children are getting ready to head to college and they knew a giant home was unnecessary. However there definitely was a few items that were must - a home gym and a nice living room. Chad came up with the idea of using precast concrete plank to allow the gym to fit under, and really be a part of their home. The point was to make the gym feel like a real room in the home, not a room under a garage. 

This Modern Craftsman style home features a wide open floor plan, a lower level bar/kitchen with a barn-wood raised bar, a lower level living area, and surround sound throughout the home.
